The “Newtonian” Bodhran Stick – The Bodhran stick with physics built in!

My bodhran sticks are designed with a superb balance. I use principles of  physics to achieve maximum performance. The idea is that the stick “disappears” from the hand. Each stick is hand-carved from select hardwoods and finished with natural carnauba wax. They are approximately 8 ½ inches long.

I have designed the stick so that it can be used with any size hand. The weight (mass) of each stick will be matched to the type of bodhran you will be using. Inform me as to the specifics of your shell (height, diameter, weight) and the relative thickness of your drumhead and I will carve a stick that fits your needs.
